A limited number of grants will be available to support young European researchers attending the EGF 2017 Symposium in Alghero. There will be three kinds of support:
1) CIHEAM Grants
The International Centre of Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), through its Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (IAMZ), will award a limited number of grants that may partially or totally cover registration fees, accommodation and travel expenses for the participation to the Symposium.
Candidates must have an article accepted by the Scientific Committee and come from CIHEAM countries (Albania, Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey). Preference will be given to young scientists from Southern and Eastern CIHEAM countries.
Applications, including a request letter, a CV and copy of the paper/s of the contribution/s submitted to the Meeting, should be sent to the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (Spain) before January 31st, 2017: email@example.com
2) Italian Society for Agronomy (SIA) Grants
The Italian Society for Agronomy (SIA) promotes the participation of SIA members to the EGF Symposium with two grants that will cover registration fees. The grants are dedicated to young members (younger than 32) or members following a PhD course. Application (including a CV) should be sent before January 31th 2017 to the following e mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Preference will be given to members with a paper submitted to the Symposium.
3) The Stapledon Memorial Trust was established to honour the memory of the pioneering British grassland scientist Sir George Stapledon. The Trust will provide five grants to cover the full EGF2017 conference fee. The grants are intended to support younger participants (under 35). A letter of application and short CV should be sent to email@example.com . Please send the requested documents before 31 January 2017.
